Deadstock Denim Iron-On Patches

$5.00

Condition:‍ ‍

  • These are iron-on denim patches in excellent condition, preserved from previous inventory. Some items may show minimal age-related wear.

About the patches:

  • Material: Heavy cotton denim with factory-applied heat-activated adhesive backing.

  • Sizes: Assorted. Typical dimensions range from approximately 3” to 4” each side depending on design.

Uses:

  • Repairing holes, tears, and worn knees on denim garments.

  • Decorative accents for jackets, jeans, overalls, backpacks, hats, and craft projects.

  • Upcycling and sustainable fashion projects preserving vintage character.

Application instructions:

  1. Pre-wash garment if needed; ensure area is clean and dry.

  2. Position patch adhesive-side down on fabric. If edge lifting is a concern, temporarily secure with pins or heat-safe tape.

  3. Place a thin cloth or pressing cloth over the patch to protect fabric and patch surface.

  4. Press firmly with a hot household iron set to the cotton/denim setting (no steam) for 30–60 seconds, applying steady pressure. For thicker garments, press 60–90 seconds and move iron slightly to apply even heat.

  5. Allow patch to cool completely to set adhesive. For added durability, stitch around the edges by hand or machine after ironing.

Care notes:

  • For long-lasting adhesion, hand-washing or gentle machine cycles are recommended. Avoid high-heat drying when possible; air-dry or tumble on low.
